The Chai Club is comprised of individuals committed to the financial support of Chabad of West Davie. We are the nerve center of Jewish life in the area, does not ask for annual membership dues or require any building fund payments. We believe in an open-door policy, where everyone is welcome regardless of affiliation, background or financial status.

All of our programs and activities are designed to convey the essentials of Judaism in an engaging fashion. We use contemporary methods to keep the ancient lessons of Judaism ever-fresh, and we adapt our teachings so that even a beginner can walk away inspired. Here is a short list of our initial programs:

We feature a warm and welcoming Shabbat service, with plenty of song interspersed throughout the service. |

Nourish the body and soul at a Shabbat meal, replete with insightful discussions and heart-warming songs. |

We bring Judaism to you by delivering Challah bread for Shabbat, candles and menorah for Chanukah, and other such materials. |

We host community events to celebrate the Jewish holidays, such as a Pesach Seder, a Purim party and the annual Menorah lighting on Chanukah. |

We offer a variety of classes with a professionally prepared curriculum such as Talmud, Chumash, Kabbalah and Chassidic philosophy. We also offer one-on-one learning with the rabbi on a topic of your particular interest. |

In the near future, we plan to rent space in the center of town, a center, which will be the base of our operations, housing a synagogue and classrooms, which will be open and easily accessible to all the Jews in the area. |
